ID: 3131.18.525A 10, lown of Star Prairie Community Developrnenl Department staff have reviewed your Land Use Permit application to mprove an existing On-Premise, Permanent Sign in the Rural Residential Zoning District pursuant to Section 17 65 FJ.a. of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. The improvement will involve attaching an LED board (14' x 32'j over the face of the existing sign structure that is 32' x 20'. A I and Use Permit is required prior to the improvement, erection, conshuction, rer onstruction, en•argemenl or alteration of any sign, structural component or mounting device I his request has been conditionally approved below based on the project findings: the existing sign was approved in 7006 by obtaining a Variance and Special Fxceptio•t r'erwit from the St. Croix County Board of Adlustinert. AI' conditions of the Board of Adjusimenus decisions dated May ;6, 2006, December 7. 2006 and December 28, 2000 must be strictly adhered to; enclosed are copies of these decisions. • During these decision, the sign in question was referred to as 'Sign #4'. Sve of the sign will nol change; sign structure height or sign area will riot change. Based on these findings, approval of SP-2018 003 is subject to the following conditio^s: 1- Sign and sign cornponents and elements of faces of signs shall not flash, move, travel, use anirnatiOn, or change intensity of artificial light. 2. The illuminated portion of the sign requires an electrical power cutoff switch on the outside of the sign. 3. 1 he County may specify the hours a sign may be illuminated and limit its brightness while illuminated. The hours of illumination or brightness limitations may be established at any tirne, includinq during the life of the sign, 4. 1 his approval oocs not alln v for lateral or vertical expansion of the sign in any way. Any amendment or change in the proposed sign shall require prior review by the 7oning Administrator for compliance with Chapter 17.65 as a new land use per mit may be required. 9. Failure to comply with the terms or conditions above may result in the revocation of this permit by [he /oning Adrministrator a(cording to Chapter 17.65 E.6. this approval is subject to the conditions listed above; it does riot allow for any additional signs, sign components and elements of signs beyond the limits of this request. Your information will rernain on file with the St. Croix Counly Community Development Department. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with any other local, state, or federal permitting or regulations, including contacting the Town of Star Prairie and Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Outdoor Advertising to inquire if additional permissions are requned.
