BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the Administration Committee recommends that the Rules and By -laws of the Board
of Supervisors of St. Croix County, Wisconsin be amended as follows:
ARTICLE III. Section E.
2. The Vice -Chair shall:
a. Act as Chair during the absence or disability of the Chair.
b. When the Chair wishes to temporarily vacate the chair during a Board meeting, act as Chair
during the absence when designated by the Chair.
c. Work with Chair on committee appointments.
3. In the absence of the Chair and Vice- Chair, the Board shall elect a Chair - pro -tem to conduct the Board
meeting.
4. Work with Chair on committcc appointments.
ARTICLE IV. Section D.
7. Information Services Committer 2 supervisors
87. St. Croix County Economic Development Corporation 3 supervisors
Contact Committee: Planning and Zoning
98. River Country Resource and Development Council 1 supervisor member
Contact Committee: Land and Water Conservation of the Land and
Water Conservation
The citizen member is entitled to reimbursement under Committee and 1
Article VI, Section C. 5. and expense citizen member
Reimbursement under Article II, Section D. recommended by the chair
of the Land and Water
Conservation Committee
and appointed by the
County Board Chair.
4-99. Indianhead Federated Library System (IFLS) Members appointed pursuant
Contact Committee: Administration to Wis. Stats. §43.19(1)(b).
Number of members is based on
Member of IFLS board are entitled to per diem county population. Chair
under Article VI, Section C. 5. and expense nominates member; Board of
reimbursement under Article II, Section D. Supervisors approves.

ARTICLE V. Section B.
2. No supervisors shall absent himself-er/ herself from the meeting without first having obtained leave of
absence from the County Board Chair or the County Clerk in the event that the Chair cannot be
reached.
ARTICLE V. Section C.
7. A supervisor called to order by the Chair shall immediately sit down unlerz permitted to
explainrelinquish the floor. The decision of the Chair may be overruled by a majority vote of the
Board.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
amendments set forth above be and are hereby approved.
