PRESERVATION PROGRAM APPLICATIONS

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes Chapter 91 provides for a program to preserve farmland; and
WHEREAS, owners of land zoned for exclusive agricultural use may participate in the farmland
preservation program; and
WHEREAS, owners of land not zoned for exclusive agricultural use may apply to the
Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) to participate
in the farmland preservation program under an agreement with the State of Wisconsin; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors is required to approve an application
before DATCP reviews it; and
WHEREAS, the Land and Water Conservation Committee has reviewed the applications of the
landowners listed below and found that they meet the minimum requirements of the farmland
preservation program and further that they comply with the St. Croix County soil and water
conservation standards.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the applications
of the following landowners are approved for inclusion in the farmland preservation program.
FURTHER, be it resolved that the St. Croix County Clerk forward each application and a
certified copy of this resolution to the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and
Consumer Protection.
