AND BYLAWS REGARDING BOARD CHAIR COMPENSATION

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the Administration Committee has determined that the County Board
Chair's position is undervalued at it's current monthly compensation of $200 per month; and
WHEREAS, in April, 2010, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors will decrease in
size from 31 members to 19 members; and
WHEREAS, the County Board Chair's administrative work will increase due to the
smaller Board; and
WHEREAS, the Administration Committee recommends that the Chair's monthly
compensation be increase from $200 per month to $500 per month effective with the next term
beginning April, 2010.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
Board Chair's compensation be $500 per month, and be in addition to per diems earned,
effective April, 2010.
FURTHER, be it resolved that Article III of its Rules and Bylaws be amended as follows:
Section D. Officers and DuticsChair. Compensation,_ iln addition to the regular per diems,
the Chair shall receive compensation of $200$500 per month for carrying out the
duties of the office.. -, effective at the beginning of the new term in April, 2010.
