INSURANCE

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the County Board approved the 2010 budget on November 10, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the budget was built with some of the union staff staying in the CoPay
health insurance plan and open enrollment for health insurance did not close until November 13,
2009; and
WHEREAS, union staff have now elected the HRA health insurance plan instead of the
CoPay health insurance plan, which results in expenditure adjustments in a few departments
within the General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
that the 2010 budget is amended to (decrease) /increase the 2010 budgeted health insurance
expenditures in the following departments and the contingency fund budget will be increased in
total to maintain a balanced budget.

Building Services (2,054.72)
Emergency Communications (2,427.68)
Emergency Management (1,132.32)
Sheriff (12,873.60)
Jail (15,137.76)
Total General Fund budget decreased (33,626.08)
Contingency Fund Increase 33,626.08
