BOARD SUPERVISORS EFFECTIVE APRIL, 2010

WHEREAS, §59.10(c), Wis. Stats. authorizes the County Board to determine the method of
compensation for County Board Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, Article II, Section D. of the Rules and By -laws of the Board of Supervisors of St.
Croix County, Wisconsin states as follows:
Section D. Compensation. Compensation for supervisors shall be set by a resolution of the
Board. The resolution must be adopted prior to the earliest date which papers may be filed for a
County Board seat and the resolution may not be amended by the Board during the term of that
Board covered by the resolution. Rates for travel reimbursement, food and lodging are set in the
County Travel Policy.

WHEREAS, in April, 2010, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors will decrease in size from
31 members to 19 members; and
WHEREAS, County Board Supervisors' administrative work will increase due to the smaller
Board; and
WHEREAS, the Administration committee recommends that the County Board Supervisors
receive a $100 monthly stipend in addition to the current per diem amounts effective with the next term
beginning April, 2010.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the County
Board Supervisors' compensation be $100 per month, and be in addition to per diems earned, effective
April, 2010.
