YEARS 2009 THROUGH 2012

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes sec. 59.22 (1) the County Board of
Supervisors shall establish the total annual compensation for services of the elected officials
before the earliest time for filing nomination papers for any elective office; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends that the total annual compensation of
the County's elected officials whose terms extend from 2009 through 2012, the County Clerk,
Register of Deeds, and County Treasurer, be established as follows (excluding reimbursement
for rooms and meals, mileage allowance, and tuition or registration costs, which will be paid
according to County policy for non - represented employees):

County Treasurer $61,000 $61,000 $61,000 $61,000
and;
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends that the three elected officials, if
participating in the County health insurance program, pay a percent of the monthly health
insurance premium, allocated to each subscriber during their term as follows:
2009 2010 2011 2012
10% 10% 10% 10%
and;
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends that County elected officials be offered
the same options as County non- represented employees for obtaining life and disability insurance
coverage in addition to the total compensation package.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
above recommendations are adopted.
