St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the County Board approved the 2008 budget on November 6, 2007; and
WHEREAS, a reserve of fund balance was authorized in the event the County were to
receive a fourth judge in 2008; and
WHEREAS, a fourth judge has been approved for 2008, which has related costs
necessary in the Circuit Court, Clerk of Courts, and the Sheriff budgets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
that the 2008 budget is amended to increase the 2008 budgeted expenditures in the following
departments and the funding for these expenditures will be the use of fund balance from the
general fund.
Circuit Court budget increased by $40,758
Clerk of Courts budget increased by $23,815
Sheriff's budget increased by $23,129
Total budget increase $87,702
