HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2007 (08a) RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NEW POSITION OF HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR, REORGANIZING HUMAN RESOURCES POSITIONS AND FUNCTIONS AND AUTHORIZING FUNDING Resolution No. F C cxG -) St. Croix County, Wisconsin WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed human resources staffing and organization options for replacing the retiring Personnel Manager; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has concluded that it is in the best interest of the County to create an additional human resources position - Human Resources Administrator - to administer the human resources functions of the County, and to place that position in non - represented employee Pay Grade 9; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends that funding for the new position of Human Resources Administrator for the remainder of 2007 be done through the Contingency Fund; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has also concluded that retaining the person presently in the position of Personnel Manager is in the best interest of County; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has also concluded that placing the Human Resources Administrator in the Administrative Coordinator Department under the supervision of the Administrative Coordinator is in the best interest of the County; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee also recommends placing the human resources positions of Personnel Manager, Human Resources Specialist and Classification/Compensation Specialist under the supervision of the Human Resources Administrator. THEREFORE, be it resolved that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors: approves a new position titled Human Resources Administrator; directs that it be placed in non - represented employee Pay Grade 9; directs that it be placed in the Administrative Coordinator Department and supervised by the Administrative Coordinator; directs that funding for that position for the remainder of 2007 be through the Contingency Fund. FURTHER, be it resolved that the Human Resources Administrator position supervise the positions of Personnel Manager, Human Resources Specialist and Compensation/Classification Specialist, all effective the 1 Resources Administrator position.
