BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ST. CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN
MULTIPLE EMPLOYMENT POSITIONS POLICY

WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends that, in order for department heads to
provide a high level of productivity and protect against potential conflicts of interest, the Rules
and By -laws of the Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County, Wisconsin be amended by creating
the following:
ARTICLE VI, Section F. Multiple Employment Positions Policy (Department Heads).
In order to assure the highest level of productivity to the community and in order to protect
against the potential for a conflict of interest, St. Croix County department heads shall serve in
only one employment capacity with the County and report to only one supervising committee.
Exceptions to this policy may be approved by the County Board on a case -by -case basis when
the specific circumstances do not conflict with the intent of this policy.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
amendment set forth above be and is hereby approved.
