ENFORCEMENT CLERK

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the Clerk of Court has requested the Finance Committee approve a new position
titled Enforcement Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has concluded that it is in the best interest of the County to
create the position of Enforcement Clerk to collect past due accounts, do enforcement work and meet with
clients to establish payment plans; and
WHEREAS, it is estimated the position will generate annual revenue of $149,760; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends a start date of October 1, 2007 and that funding
for the new position for the remainder of 2007 be taken from the Clerk of Court 2007 budget; and
WHEREAS, the 2008 proposed annual salary and fringe benefit cost is $56,697; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends approval of the following new position:
Enforcement Clerk — Assigned to Clerk of Court
New, full -time union position, pay grade 5A, GGSS Union
2008 salary and fringe cost: $56,697
Funding source: County levy
Effective Date: October 1, 2007
THEREFORE, be it resolved that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors approves a new
position titled Enforcement Clerk; directs that it be placed in represented employee Pay Grade 5A, GGSS
Union; directs that it be placed in the Clerk of Court Depaitment and supervised by the Clerk of Court;
directs that funding for that position for the remainder of 2007 be taken from the Clerk of Court 2007
budget.
