The St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows:
WHEREAS, On May 29, 2007, the Town of Hudson enacted the following zoning ordinance
amendments: to Sections 105 -12, 105 -14, and 105 -35 correcting road classifications from Class
C to Class D for a minor collector street in a Commercial District and in a Commercial /Light
Industrial District and building and parking lot setbacks from an interior lot line in a Commercial
District and in a Commercial/Light Industrial District; and to Article IV Signs, Sections 105 -20
thru 105 -28, updating sign regulations to remove a general section and add the information to
each district, add a section for interior traffic directional signs, delete the word moving for
allowed signage, business directional signs within right -of -way under town jurisdiction, size of
home occupation signs, portable signs and new sections pertaining to monument signs.
WHEREAS, Section 60.62(3), Wisconsin Statutes requires in counties having a county zoning
ordinance that no town zoning ordinance amendment is effective unless approved by the county
board; and
WHEREAS, St Croix County has a zoning ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Committee has reviewed the proposed amendment and
recommends approval.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the amendment
to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance set out above is hereby approved.
