This is a 3.08 acre parcel zoned Ag/Residential. The lot is partially in the Rural Residential Management cone of the Lower St. Croix Riverway District. The lot has a slope of 1% and is currently a mowed field and the outer perimeter is lined with mature pines. The application for the POWTS will be applied for and installed by James Thompson of A.C.L. Soil and Site Evaluations. The system consists of a 1,000 gallon Wieser concrete septic tank and a 600 gallon pump chamber. The work includes hauling 120 tons ASTM C 33 sand to the site. The mound will be capped with topsoil. The construction of the mound will take approximately 2 days. I plan to seed the mound area and cover with straw. The site will be seeded within 2-3 days of installation of the mound system, depending on the weather. Silt fence is already in place down slope from the mound area. I will be on site to inspect and maintain the silt fence and ground cover until the seed is established.
