The Community Development Depart-nent staff have reviewed the Land Use Permit applrrabon for the
construction of a 213)<44 detached garage and minhnaI land d sturbance within the shore l:md Overlay District.
Chapter 11.30. the request has beer,, conditionally approved based on the apnlirahon submission and the
following findings.
• The detached garage meets the 75' setback to the ordinary high water mark of Squaw Lake.
• The height of the detached garage does not exceed the 20' maximum height for an accessory structure.
• The impervious surface calculation determines the amount of impervious surface at 15% after mitigation
was applied.
• Lrosion and secirnent con,rul plans have been submitted that meet Wisconsin Department of Natural
Resources Technical Standards. Best Management Practices will he incorpo,ated.
• No well or septic to be connected to the detached struc;urc',
Rased on thew findings, approval of the I and llse Permit is subject to the following conditions:
1.A pre-construction inspection is required to verify the Lrosion and Sedimert control, best management
practices have been installed as per site plan.
2.5t. Croix County eservvs the right to require additional sediment and erosion control measures to be
installed if found necessary clue to site specific concerns and wit be documented in an as built site plan.
3. Permanent vegetation shall be established once final grade is reached. A temporary cover crop such as oats,
winter wheat or rye, mulchin may also be necessary if the site is not stabilized by September 1.5", Mg.
4.A post-construction inspection is required prior to removing the temporary sediment and erosion control
measures to verify the minimum of 70% vegetative cover has been achieved. Please call the inspector to
schedule an inspection.
5. It is the applicant's responsibility to secure any other required local, slate or fedci al permitls) arid dpproval(s)
Prior to land disturbance activity.
6. Failure to comply with the terms or conditions above may result in the revocation of this permit by the Zoning
Administralcr pursuant to Chapter 17.71.

The property owner shall execute and record an affidavit describing the approved storm water management
plan and maintenance requirements with the County Register of Deeds within 30 days after construction is
completed.
This approval is subject to the conditions listed above; it does not allow for any additional construction,
structures, or buildings beyond the limits of this request. Your information will remain on file at the St. Croix
County Community Development Department suite. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with any
outer loca , slate, or federal permitting and regulations, including contacting the Town of Slat Prairie and the
Department of Natural Resources to inquire :f additional permissions are required.
