, ��, UNTy RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE FARMLAND PRESERVATION
PLAN AND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FUTURE LAND USE

1 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors has appointed the Community
2 Development Committee as the County Planning and Zoning Agency,pursuant to Wisconsin
3 Statute § 59.69 (2); and
4
5 WHEREAS,pursuant to Wisconsin Statute § 59.69(2) and (3), St. Croix County is
6 authorized to prepare or amend a comprehensive plan as defined in Wisconsin Statute §
7 66.1001(1)(a); and
8
9 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors formally adopted the document
10 entitled, ST. CROIX COUNTY - 2012 - 2035 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, on November 5,
11 2012; and

13 WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has reviewed the proposed map
14 amendments and by a majority vote of the entire committee recorded in its official minutes,
15 recommends approval of the map amendments to the document entitled ST. CROIX COUNTY -
16 2012 - 2035 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN containing all the elements specified in Wisconsin
17 Statute § 66.1001(2); and

19 WHEREAS, the Committee has held a public hearing on this ordinance, in compliance
20 with the requirements of Wisconsin Statute § 66.1001(4)(d).

22 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, by
23 enactment of this ordinance, formally adopts the map amendments to the document entitled, ST.
24 CROIX COUNTY - 2012 - 2035 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.

26 FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that this Ordinance shall be effective upon its adoption
27 and publication and that publication of this ordinance may occur through posting in accordance
28 with Wis. Stat. § 985.02.
