ST. ROM�'w " '° �..1NTY RESOLUTION APPROVING SALE OF APPROXIMATELY 2.5 ACRES OF
REAL ESTATE TO THE VILLAGE OF SOMERSET
1 WHEREAS, St. Croix County owns a five (5) acre parcel of land in the Village of
2 Somerset, more particularly described as follows:

4 Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map in Vol. 9, Page 2653, located in part of the NE '/4 of the
5 SW '/4 of Section 36, T3 IN, R19W, Village of Somerset, St. Croix County, Wisconsin

7 WHEREAS, St. Croix County no longer has a need to utilize a portion of this property
8 for highway purposes; and

10 WHEREAS, the Village of Somerset desires to purchase the north 230 feet of the above
11 described property, consisting of approximately 2.5 acres; and

13 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Transportation Committee has agreed to, subject to
14 the approval of St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, convey the north 230 feet of the above
15 described property to the Village of Somerset for a purchase price of$26,400, with the Village of
16 Somerset being responsible for all closing costs, including the cost of surveying.

18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of
19 Supervisors approves the sale to the Village of Somerset of the N 230 feet of Lot 1 of the
20 Certified Survey Map in Vol. 9, Page 2653 under the terms and conditions described above.

22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Administrator is authorized
23 to execute any documents necessary, subject to approval by the Office of Corporation Counsel,
24 to convey the property.
