ST. ROM�'w '° �..1NTY RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE
SNOWMOBILE TRAIL AIDS PROGRAM
1 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County snowmobile trail system is extensive and of high
2 quality attracting large numbers of users; and
3 WHEREAS, St. Croix County is eligible for annual funding of snowmobile maintenance
4 at the rate of$300.00 per mile; and
5 WHEREAS, St. Croix County with cooperating snowmobile clubs currently maintains
6 216.6 miles of state funded snowmobile trails; and
7 WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has agreed that this
8 resolution will cover the application years of 2019, 2020 and 2021.
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of
10 Supervisors approves the applications to the Snowmobile Trail Aids Program for the St. Croix
11 County snowmobile trail system for the years 2019, 2020 and 2021.
12 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Park Administrator or the Community
13 Development Department Director is authorized to submit applications for the years 2019, 2020
14 and 2021 respectively, and shall comply with state rules for the programs, may perform force
15 account work and shall comply with obligations under the grant.

Legal Note:
Fiscal Impact: Annually the Parks Division applies for the Snowmobile Trail Aids Program. The
grant revenues received equals the expenses incurred. There is NO fiscal impact to
the Parks Division or St. Croix County.
