CROIX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER ROOM 1406, 1101 CARMICHAEL ROAD, HUDSON, WI December 15, 2009 Members Present: Buzz Marzolf, Bill Peavey, Dan Raebel, Gene Ruetz Members Absent: Ken Graf, Linda Luckey Staff Present: Director Bob Heise Chair Ruetz called the meeting to order at 8:31 a.m. Adoption of Agenda: Motion by Peavey, seconded by Raebel, to adopt the agenda. Carried. Date of next meeting: January 5, 2010 NEW BUSINESS Grant Agreement — TMDL — Lake Mallalieu/Willow River Heise presented the agreement between the WDNR (Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources) and St. Croix County to allow the LWCD to develop an implementation plan for the Willow River Watershed and Lake Mallalieu. The grant is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) for a sum of $25,500.00. The proposed project is to be completed by September 2010. Heise shared that Corporation Counsel staff has reviewed the agreement and has offered some comments and suggestions. Moreover, it was suggested that the Committee Chair not sign the agreement, but to obtain signatures from the Administrative Coordinator, County Board Chairman, County Clerk, and Corporation Counsel. Heise is to revise the signature sheet. Raebel made motion, seconded by Peavey, to approve the contract agreement and to have Heise obtain the required signatures on the contract. Carried.
