All local and/or state rules pertaining to system maintenance and maintenance reporting shall be complied with. If the contents of the tank arc not removed at the time of a biannual assessment maintenance personnel shall advise the owner of when service will be needed to maintain less than 1;'3 scum and sludge accumulation in the tank The outlet filter shall be cleaned as neccssan to ensure proper operation The filter cartridge should not be removed unless provisions are made to retain solids in the tank that may slough off the filter when removed from its enclosure.
