Community Development staff have reviewed the I and Use Permit application for the construction
of a new porch in the Shoreland Overlay Zoning District pursuant to Chapter 17.30 I. The request
has been conditionally approved haled on the application submission and the following findings'
The proposed structures meet the 75-foot setback to the ordinary high water mark and is within
the 300 foot setback to the ordinary high water mark.
• 1 he proposed structures meet the setbacks to the property lines.
• Total land disturbance is less than 10,000 square feet.
• The impervious surface calculation resulted in 7 43`%> total impervious s_Urface therefor, mitigation is
will not be required.
• No land disturbance to slopes greater than 19.990 is proposed.
Rased on these findings, approval of the Land Use Permit is subject to the fol!ovoirq cr:ir.ions:
1. A pre-construction inspection is required to validate setbacks and verity erosion and sediment
control has been installed dowrWope of construuion activities. Please call me at (715) 386-4684, to
schedule this rnspeclion.
2. St. Croix County reserves the right to require additional sedirnenl and erosion control measures to
be installed if found necessary due to site specific concerns and will be documented in an as-built
site plan.
3. A post-construction inspection is required prior to removing the temporary sediment and erosion
control measures- Please call me at (i'15) 386 4684, to schedule this inspection.
4. All temporary erosion control measures shall be left in place and maintained until the site has
reached a point of at least /0% perrnanenl vegetation. Permanent vegetation shall be established
once final grade is reached or as soon as applicable per plan.
5. It is the applicant's responsibility to secure any other required local, state or federal permit(s) and
approval(s) prior to land disturbance activity.

permissions are required. I his permit is valid for one year, with the possibility of up to two (2) six-
month extensions if the applicant submits the appropriate permit extension fee and documentation
to the Zoning Administrator. A copy of the I and ttse Pennit placard should be submitted to the
town's local Building Inspeclor upon applying for town building permit(s), The orange placard must
be posted on thejob site and visible from public view.
