Meeting called to order by Chair Rebholz
Members Present: Daryl Standafer, Sharon Norton - Bauman, Roger Rebholz, Dick King, Chuck
Whiting, Michelle Pietrick, Tammy Funk, and Esther Wentz (attended 5/18/09 only)
Others Present: None
Adoption of Agenda: Motion by Norton Bauman, 2 nd by Standafer to adopt the agenda, motion carried
unanimously

Old And New Business:
1. Interview Candidates for Appointment to remaining term of County Treasurer
Funk provided an overview of the interview process with the hiring panel. A packet of information was provided to
members including a list of the applicants, interview questions, the interview schedule, and copies of the applications.
Funk conducted a review of the questions to be asked of candidates and the interview schedule. 11 candidates were
interviewed in total: 7 on May 18 and 4 on May 20. Funk discussed that following the interviews, the committee
would either try to achieve a consensus with regard to one candidate to recommend to the County Board for
appointment or determine which candidates with whom to conduct a second interview. Following the interview of the
11 candidates, the members of the committee discussed the qualification of each and made a unanimous
recommendation to invite 3 individuals back for a second interview on Wednesday May 27. Human Resources will
notify all candidates of the decision.

The committee did not meet again, all members of the panel were provided a copy of the minutes, no one had any
additions or corrections, and these minutes have been submitted by T. Funk as the official minutes.
