Duncan, Norma Vrieze, Peg Gagnon Ron Lockwood and Tammy Funk present for part of the meeting. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING — Motion by Peg. Seconded by Norma. Approved. ADOPTION OF AGENDA DATE OF NEXT MEETING — Feb 14, 2008 1:00 p.m. at the Dept of Aging in the Gov Ctr. OLD AND NEW BUSINESS 1. Discussion regarding ADRC application and internal organization After much discussion a model was identified and agreed to for structuring the ADRC as having a Director, with lead workers for Intake and Assistance Specialists, Nutrition Program, Transportation Programs and Caregiver Programs. The committee discussed work flow patterns and agreed on a model in which the call comes into the ADRC and is answered by a receptionist or administrative assistant, and then routed. When the receptionist is on the phone, the call should roll over to an available I and A Specialist. The Pierce County flow chart was reviewed and it was felt it applies to us with a couple minor changes. Job descriptions were reviewed with Tammy Funk, HR Director. A couple minor changes will be made to the I and A description to modify it to fit a lead worker. The Eau Claire County ADRC Director Position was reviewed and felt to be somewhat appropriate. Tammy will work on both of these. There was discussion regarding having a nutrition coordinator, since there is not a current position as such. Tammy will work on this. 2. Possible Agenda Items for next meetings Continued discussion ofjob descriptions, work flow ADRC timeline ADJOURN — Peg motioned to adjourn. Norma seconded.
