CALL TO ORDER — The meeting was called to order at 1:15 pm
ROLL CALL — Present: Kjersti L.O. Duncan, Norma Vrieze, Peg Gagnon
Julie Speer present as a guest.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING — Motion by Norma. Seconded by
Kj ersti. Approved.
ADOPTION OF AGENDA
DATE OF NEXT MEETING — Meeting with Buck Rhyme on January 14,2008; Regularly
Scheduled Meeting: January 17, 2008
OLD AND NEW BUSINESS
1. Discussion regarding ADRC application
Discussion took place regarding the proposed organizational structure and governance of the DRC.
Ms. Speer offered insight into inclusion of board members and committee members in the planning
process and in communicating with them about progress in planning.
A phone call was received from Buck Rhyme to discuss agenda for the upcoming meeting on
Monday. He suggested gathering samples of MOUs between county departments.
Discussion took place regarding the importance of adequately describing collaboration between
departments in the ADRC application.
Members of the Ad Hoc planning committee will attend the Council on Aging meeting next week
and also the meeting of the Health and Human Services Board meeting.
2. Discussion regarding timeline of ADRC application and implementation
Letters of support from the Council on Aging and Department of Health and Human Services will
be obtain in mid February to include with the application to be mailed approximately Feb. 19, 2008.
4. Possible Agenda Items for next meetings
Development of Memorandums of Understanding.
