Meeting called to order at 9:OD A.M. by acting Chair Daryl Standafer.
Members Present: Linda Luckey, Tom O'Connell, Gerald Peterson and ~
Dar 1 Standafer. Nanc Bierau el excused. I' Y y g ~
Adoption of Agenda: Motion by Luckey, 2nd by Peterson to adopt the
agenda as published. Carried.
Adoption of Minutes: Motion by O'Connell, 2nd by Luckey to adopt
the April 7, 1998 minutes. Carried.
Next Meeting Date: Tuesday, June Z, 1998 9:00 A.M.
Election of Officers: Motion by O'Connell, 2nd by Luckey to unanimously elect Daryl Standafer as Chairman. Carried.
Motion by O'Connell, 2nd by Pederson to unanimously elect Linda
Luckey to Vice Chair. Carried.
Motion by O'Connell, 2nd by Luckey to unanimously elect Nancy
Bieraugel as Secretary. Carried.
Rules and By-Laws: A brief discussion on supervisor/non--supervisor
per diem payments. The committee is working with Corporation
Counsel, the Finance Department and the Administrative Coordinator
to better clarify and address this issue.
Another situation that needs to be clarified is, can a lay person
be a chairman of a committee? Chair Standafer feels that the members of the committee should choose who tha want as
their
Y chairman.
Attendance at out-of-state meetings will also be discussed at a
later date.
Information Services Committee has 3 appointed supervisors and the
rules state 2 supervisors . Supr . 0' Connell will take this issue to
Finance for clarification.
Motion by O'Connell, 2nd by Pederson to adjourn at 9:40 A.M.
