Community Development staff have reviewed the application for 1 empofary Occupancy on the
property described above in the Town of Star Prairie. Pursuant to Chapter 17.70(3)(c)2. of the St.
Croix County Zoning Ordinance, no person shall occupy or use a trailer, van, mobile home,
recreational vehicle, tent, hus, truck, automobile or similar apparatus for residential purposes,
temporary or permanent, on any parcel riot having a legal and occupied principal structure.
However, temporary occupancy may be granted if the owner has secumd a sanitary and building
permit for construction of a principal structure. The request has heen conditionally approved
based on the application submission and the following findings:
• On June 5, 2019, the parcel received approval to construct the principal structure. At that time,
temporary occupancy could not be approved without proof of a valid building and sanitary
permit.
• The applicant has secured a State Sanitary Permit frorn St. Croix County to install a new Private
Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (POWTS) Sanitary #615375.
• The applicant has secured a Building Permit from Brian Wert Inspection Agency in August 2019.
Based on these findings, approval of the Land Use Permit is subject to the following conditions:
1. Once the residence becomes occupied, temporary occupancy shall cease.
2. It is the applicant's responsibility to secure any other required local, state or federal permit(s) and
approval(s) prior to land disturbance activity.
I ailure to comply with the leans or conditions above may result in the revocation of this permit by
the Zoning Administrator pursuant to Chapter 17.71 and chapter 11.30 P. (13).
This approval is subject to the conditions listed above; it does not allow for any additional
construction, structures, or buildings beyond the limits of this request. Your information will remain
on file at the St. Croix County Community Development Department suite. It is your responsibility to
ensure compliance with any other local, state, or federal permitting or regulations, including

contacting the Town of Star Prairie and the Department of Natural Resources to inquire if additional
peunissions are required. This permit is valid for one year, with the possibility of up to two (2) six
month extensions if the applicant submits the appropriate permit extension fee and documentation
to the Zoning Administrator. A copy of the I and Use Permit placard should be submitted to the
town's local Budding Inspector upon applying for town building permit(s). The orange placard must
be posted on the job-site and visible. from public view.

Applications will not be accepted until the applicant has:

• Submitted Original plus 2 copies of the entire packet including all supporting information, maps & diagrams;
• Reso:ved any land use violations and paid any outstanding fees owed to the Community Development Department;
• S:gned the sop ica6on form (the signotures of the property owners and agents acting on their behalf are required); and
• Suomltted the appropriate application lee (nonrefundable) poyeble to: St. Croix County.
REVIEW:
The 7oning Administrator will review the apphcation for completeness and assign a file number to the applcation, the Zoning
Adrninislrator may require additional information and will notify the apphcart or:7is w'thin 10 days, Upon receiving a complete
application and supporting documents, the Zoning Administrator will:
• send copic; o` :hit applications to the appropriate reviewing agencies for comment. Applicants are encouraged to contact
their town to discuss their application and inquire about necessary building permits and approvals at the town level;
• schedule a site visit to the applicant's property, at which time the applicant hall ling all applicable property/project corners
a❑d label the hags accordingly; and
• review the file and prepare findings for approval or denial of the permit with 1 bD days. Upon approval, the permit will be
mailed to the applicant or to the applicant's agent.

• any other unique limiting conditions of the property or information deerned necessary by the Zoning Administrator.
