Location: A parcel of land located in the NE of the NW'/ and the NW'/ of the NW 1/4 of Section 23, T28N-R16W, Town of Eau Galle, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. This petition is being reconsidered due to a correction in the legal description. The hearing was previously held on December 9, 1998. 2) Roger E. and June L. Lindquist to rezone 5.74 acres of land from Ag/Residential to Commercial. Loction: A parcel of land located in the SE of the SE of Section 18, T29N-R17W, Town of Hammond, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CORRESPONDENCE: POSSIBLE AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING: ADJOURNMENT (Agenda not necessarily presented in this order) SUBMITTED BY: St. Croix County Zoning Office DATE: March 23, 1999 COPIES TO: County Board Office Committee Members County Clerk News Media/Notice Board MINUTES St. Croix County Planning, Zoning & Parks Committee March 31, 1999 Hammond Town Hall Committee present: Ron Raymond, Dave Hense, Gerald Larson, Art Jensen, Linda Luckey Committee excused: None Staff present: Steve Fisher Chairman Raymond called the hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. A motion was made by Raymond and seconded by Hense to adopt the agenda. Discussion was held regarding the next meeting, which will be the Steering Committee meeting on April 7t'. Also, the tour of the Perch Lake Park will be postponed until further notice. Linda Luckey stated small grammatical changes needed to be made on the December 9, 1998 minutes. A motion was made by Jensen and seconded by Larson to approve the changes. Chairman Raymond explained the hearing procedure. Steve Fisher read the notice into the record and called the hearing to order. REQUEST NO.1 Garland Fregine to rezone 10.0 acres of land from Agriculture to Ag/Residential. Location: A parcel of land located in the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and the NW 1/4 of the NW '/4 of Section 23, T28N-R16W, Town of Eau Galle, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. This petition is being reconsidered due to a correction in the legal description. The hearing was previously held on December 9, 1998. Garland Fregine, Woodville, stated that he is going to sell 10 acres to his daughter to build a home. Chairman Raymond asked for comments from anyone supporting the rezonement. William Peavey, Eau Galle Town Clerk, told the committee that the town has addressed the stipulations of Wisconsin Statute 91.77 and thus support the rezoning request. Chairman Raymond asked for any comments from anyone opposing the rezonement. No one was heard. Luckey questioned the recording of the easement. Discussion followed. Staff will ensure that the easement /access is in compliance with the County regulations before this goes before the County Board for approval. Chairman Raymond recessed the hearing and called for committee action. A motion was made by Jensen to recommend approval to the County board on the request of Garland Fregine to rezone 10.0 acres of land from Agriculture to Ag/Residential, noting that both the town and the county considered Wisconsin Statute 91.77. Motion was seconded by Larson with Luckey opposing. Motion carried. REQUEST NO.2 Roger E. and June L. Lindquist to rezone 5.74 acres of land from Ag/Residential to Commercial. Location: A parcel of land located in the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 18, T29N-R17W, Town of Hammond, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. Chairman Raymond reopened the hearing. Staff stated that the applicant had increased the acreage to be rezoned after the legal publication'. This hearing was tabled and will be heard after it is re-advertised with the correct acreage. A motion was made by Hense to close the hearing and seconded by Larson. A motion was made by Hense and seconded by Larson to adjourn.
