Staff present: Mary Jenkins Chairman Raymond called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. A discussion was held on the upcoming schedule. Chairman Raymond then explained the rules of the hearing. The hearing notice was read into the record. Zoning Business Hobby Farms, Inc. to rezone 35.0 acres of land from Agriculture to Ag/Residential. Location: A parcel of land located in the NW '/4 of the NW '/4 of Section 3, T31 N- R19W, Town of Somerset, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. Ron Johnson, RLS, P.O. Box 325, New Richmond, Wisconsin, representing Hobby Farms, Inc. showed the committee an aerial photo of the parcel proposed to be rezoned. There were no questions from the committee members. No one spoke in favor or in opposition to the request. Ed Schachtner, Town Board Chairman, said the town has considered the provision of Wis. Stat. 91.77 and supports the rezoning. Motion by Hense, second by Jensen to close the hearing. Motion by Jensen to recommend approval to County Board recognizing that both town and county has considered provisions of Wis. Stat. 91.77. Motion seconded by Hense. Motion carried. Motion by Larson, second by Hense to adjourn. Motion carried.
