Motion by Hense and seconded by Larson to accept the legal notice and enter into the hearing as published. Raymond explained the rezonement hearing procedure. REQUEST NO. 1 Daniel Luckwaldt to rezone approximately 5.0 acres of land from Agriculture to Ag/Residential. Location: A parcel of land located in the SE 1/4 of the SE'/4 of Section 23, T29N-R16W, Town of Baldwin, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. Chairman Raymond asked for comments from anyone supporting the rezonement. Marvin Luckwaldt, County Road D, is in favor. Chairman Raymond asked for comments from anyone opposing the rezonement. None were heard. Paul Lokker, Town of Baldwin Supervisor, told the committee that the town has addressed the stipulations of Wisconsin Statute 91.77 and with this supported the rezoning request. Chairman Raymond recessed the hearing and called for committee action. A motion was made by Jensen to recommend approval to the County Board on the request of Daniel Luckwaldt to rezone approximately 5.0 acres of land from Agricultural to Ag/Residential, noting that both the Town and the County considered Wisconsin Statute 91.77 and determined that the stipulations had been met. Motion was seconded by Larson. Motion carried. REQUEST NO.2 Craig and Gloria Rasmussen/Paxton and Tammy Rasmussen to rezone approximately 5.0 acres of land from Agriculture to Ag/Residential. Location: A parcel of land located in the NE 1/4 of the NW'/4 of Section 25, T29N-R16W, Town of Baldwin, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. Craig Rasmussen stated that his son, Paxton Rasmussen, would like to purchase some land to build a home. Chairman Raymond asked for comments from anyone supporting the rezonement. Eugene Zimmerman, Town of Baldwin Supervisor, told the committee that the town has addressed the stipulations of Wisconsin Statue 91.77 and with this supported the rezoning request. A motion was made by Hense to recommend approval to the County Board on the request of Craig and Gloria Rasmussen/Paxton and Tammy Rasmussen to rezone 5.0 acres from Agriculture to Ag/Residential, noting that both the Town and the County considered Wisconsin Statute 91.77 and determined that the stipulations had been met. Motion seconded by Luckey. Motion carried. Discussion was held on the Resolution on Minnesota/Wisconsin Boundary Area Commission. Discussion was held on a joint resolution from Administration Committee and Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee. A motion was made by Hense to make this a joint resolution with Administration and PZP Committee, supporting the retainment and funding of the Minnesota/Wisconsin Boundary Area Commission. Motion was seconded by Luckey. Motion carried. Committee reviewed the DNR letter requesting a copy of Corporation Counsels opinion on the Riverway boundaries.
