CROIX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER, HUDSON, WI September 20 & 23, 1999 PRESENT: All Committee members present for the first meeting. Staff: Dave Fodroczi and Ellen Denzer. ABSENT: Art Jensen was absent for meeting September 23rd meeting. St Croix County Development Management Plan I The Planning Zoning and Parks Committee meeting held on September 20th was at the Ag Center in Baldwin and on September 23rd at the Community Room, Government Center, Hudson. The September 20`h meeting had about 60 parties attending. Please see sign in sheets. The meeting on September 23rd had approximately 40 people in attendance. Please see sign in sheets. The meetings were called to order by Chairman Ron Raymond at 7:10 p.m. Chairman Raymond explained the purpose of the meeting was to provide an update on changes to the County Development Management Plan, specifically, Chapter 6, Goals and Policies. Planning Director Dave Fodroczi provided a brief overview of the planning project since it began and extensively reviewed the changes made to the plan since it began and extensively reviewed the changes made to the plan since the public meetings held in the summer and fall of 1998. Staff provided copies of Chapter 6, an explanation of average density and summary of the approximate density available to the towns. Fodroczi and Raymond then opened the meetings up for questions and comments from the audiences. Comment sheets were handed out and those in attendance were encouraged to fill them out now or later or take them back to the organizations or municipalities that they represented and submit formal comments. Those present were also encouraged to write down any questions, which could not be handled due to time constraints. Staff will respond by phone or in writing to any issues. Chairman Raymond thanked those present for attending. He adjourned the meetings at 9:15 p.m. A summary of all written comments received from the meeting is attached.
