No Parking signs have been placed on Co. Rd. A by State Park.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Intersections: Co. Rd. UU & Hwy. 12 and Co. Rd. UU &
Carmichael Rd.
2. Stop light in Baldwin on Hwy. 63 South end. Passing on
right has solid white line-signing/dash white lines.
3. West Junction Hwy. 12 & Hwy. 65 East bound solid white
line, West bound dash lines. Not consistent.

Committee Members
St. Croix County Traffic Safety Commission meeting was
held October 20, 1999 at the Sheriff's Department in Hudson
at 1:30PM.
Present were: Greg Helgeson, Don Johnson, Scott
Moller, Gerald Larson, Doris Peterson, Charles Grant, Jack
Colvard, Daniel Fedderly, Bob Klanderman and Pam Dabruzzi.
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Klanderman.
Motion to adopt agenda made and approved. Motion to accept
minutes of July 14, 1999 was made and approved.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Chairman Klanderman reported No Parking signs have
been placed on Co. Rd. A by State Park.
NEW BUSINESS
Trooper Johnson voiced his concern over Co. Rd. UU and
Hwy.' 12 intersection. He almost had an accident there
recently. This intersection is scheduled for re-
construction and lights in 2003. Discussion held
concerning this issue. Motion made and seconded to have a
45 MPH speed zone from I94 to Co. Rd. U on Hwy. 12 (N).
Motion carried.
Discussion held concerning white line markings at stop
light on Hwy. 63 in Baldwin. (solid lines vs. dashes) and
W. Junction of Hwy. 12 and Hwy. 65.
Carmichael Rd. and Co. Rd.. UU intersection will be
improved with Carmichael Rd. project. An agreement has
been reached hopefully with the City of Hudson.
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CORRESPONDENCE
St. Croix County had its 14th fatality on I94 at
approximately MP8.
Mr. Colvard asked about getting some videos on driving
safety and hazards for some classes.
Mr. Colvard asked about grants available from DOT for
First Responder and for trauma kits.
Motion was made and seconded to adjourn. Carried.
