Klanderman DATE: April 6, 1999 COPIES TO: County Clerk News Media/Notice Board Committee Members St. Croix County Traffic Safety Commission meeting was held April 14, 1999 at the Sheriff's Department in Hudson at i:30PM. Present were: Charles Grant, Jim Harer, Donald Johnson, Greg Helgeson, Miles Wittig, Jerry Larson, Bob Klanderman, Brent Pickard, Doris Peterson, Theresa Heil and Pam Dabruzzi. Meeting was called to order by Chairman Klandersmn. Motion to adopt agenda was made and approved. Motion to accept minutes of January 21, 1999 was made and approved. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS• Mr. Helgeson stated he got a complaint reference the speed limit of 55 MPH just north of Krattley Lane in North Hudson on Hwy. 35. Discussion was held reference lowering speed limit to 45 MPH. Motion was made and seconded to leave speed limit as is. Chairman Klanderman voiced his concern with the intersection at Co. Rd. UU, Hwy. 12 and Badlands RD. Accident numbers have increased every year. Discussion was held. Mr. Pickard discussed things going on in the legislature. There seems to be support for the Graduated License bill. Discussion was held reference the revision of.the seatbelt law. Mr. Wittig made a comment reference brighter headlights on vehicles.
