Fourth Street New Richmond, Wisconsin 54017 - 1063 LONG TERM SUPPORT PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES MAY 27, 1999 Members Present: Robert Boche, Keith Gregerson, Ray Mealey, John Mortensen, Robert Palewicz, Rich Peterson Francis Schaffner, Marguerite Sumner, Wanda Viellieux and Glenda Zielski Members Excused: James Craig and Fern Johnson Members Absent: None Staff. Ron Lockwood, Social Work Supervisor Meeting called to order by Chair Ray Mealey at 6:15 p.m. Motion to approve agenda with addition of COP carryover and Older Americans Act by Robert Boche, second by Marguerite Sumner. Motion carried. Motion to approve minutes by Robert Boche, second by Wanda Viellieux. Motion carried. Date of Next Meeting: Thursday, July 8, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. in Board Room of Human Services Complex in New Richmond. Unfinished Business: Family Care proposal in Governor's Biennial Budget was discussed. No recommendations were agreed upon. Family Care Districts will be on agenda for July meeting so that more time can be devoted to analyzing the implications for county government. New Business: 1. The Financial Report was presented by Ron Lockwood. Ron noted that the county is in compliance with the COP significant proportions requirements. 2. There were no variance or special purchase requests. 3. Members acted to approve spending $29,626 of COP 1998 Carryover for Services during 1999 on motion by Wanda Viellieux, second by Robert Palewicz. 4. Motion by Keith Gregerson, second by Bruce Bayer directing Chair to write A letter to Congressional representatives endorsing the renewal of the Older Americans Act during 1999. Motion carried. 5.
