FINANCE COMMITTEE
Special Meeting May 18, 1998
Meeting called to order by Chair Brown at 9:00 a.m. at the
Incinerator Site in New Richmond. Members present: Herb Giese,
Tom Dorsey, Robert Boche and Don Brown. O'Connell was absent and
excused. Others Present: Administrative Coordinator John Krizek,
Gary Boley from Dames and Moore, Suprs . Jack Dowd, George Sinclear,
John Mortensen, Highway Commissioner Dan Fedderly and Maintenance
Service Technician Dave Best.
The date of the June Finance meeting was set for June 12, 8:30 a.m.
Motion by Giese, 2nd by Dorsey to move into closed session per Wi
Statute 10.95 (1)(e) to conduct specified business that requires
bargaining. Roll call: all yes. Carried.
Motion to come out of closed session by Giese, 2nd by Dorsey.
Carried.
Action from Closed Session: Motion by Boche, 2nd by Giese to have
the Highway Department fill in the pit located in the incinerator
building with compacted sand or gravel. Carried.
Gary Boley will pursue other options for disposal of the
incinerator site.
Committee also toured county land in Town of Kinnickinnic.
Meeting adjourned at 11:30 a.m.
