Meeting called to order by Chair Ray Mealey.
Adoption of Agenda:
Motion by Robert Boche - add Phase in of Family Care
roll of committee in approving COP dollars. Second by
John Mortensen. Carried
Previous -Minutes:
Correction on DayAway spelling. Motion by John Mortensen
to approve with the correction. Second by Marguerite
Sumner. Carried

Financial Report:

Aging Report:
Sandy distributed information about the upcoming
conference for Older Consumers on Protecting Your Rights.
It will be held in Eau Claire on Tuesday, August 25th.
There is a $3.00 fee. Registrations must be received by
the Department of Justice in Madison by August 17th.
Robyn Shapiro, Broethics Center in Milwaukee, will speak
at Hudson's Faith Community Church, concerning ethical
decisions, caregiving for Alzheimer's patients, future
treatments, etc. -

Roll of Committee in Approving COP V a :
Einar Horne felt that members approved the start-up funds for
COP without having adequate information. He also thought the
request should have gone through the Human Services Committee.
Long Term Support Committee status was discussed.
Family Care Phase -in:
Draft schedule was distributed and discussed.
1999 Budget:
Ron presented the 1999 Budget Summary- Many.questions were
answered, particularly concerning St. Croix Industries. All
programs were described in detail.

3:08, motion to adjourn made by Marguerite Sumner, seconded by
Robert Boche. Carried
