MINUTES
PLANNING, ZONING AND PARKS COMMITTEE
ST. CROIX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER, HUDSON, WI
AUGUST 6,1998
PRESENT: Chairperson Ron Raymond, Supervisors Dave Hense, Gerald Larson, Linda Luckey and Art
Jensen. Staff. Dave Fodroczi, Cindy Sherman, Ellen Denzer and Judy Kahler.
Chairperson Ron Raymond called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Motion by Hense, seconded Larson to
adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
Minutes/August Meeting Dates
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 1998. Budgets of the Planning, Zoning, Parks and
Register of Deeds Departments will be August 12, 1998 at 9:00 a.m. Planning, Zoning and Parks and the
Transportation Committee will hold a joint meeting on August 27, 1998 at the Highway Department Shop
in Hammond to review the Highway 35/64 Corridor. The September meeting will be held on September 29,
1998 at 9:00 a.m.
PLANNING AND ZONING BUSINESS
Development Plan and Ordinance
Planning Director Dave Fodroczi, Zoning Director Cindy Sherman and Ellen Denzer presented an overview
of the Development Plan and proposed Zoning Ordinance and how they relate. Three townships are having
difficulty with the plan. Fodroczi clarified how the Plan translates to the Zoning Ordinance. Sherman
explained to the Committee how Planning and Zoning should work together. Fodroczi plans to revisit the
three townships that have concerns. The County will draft proposed zoning maps, town by town.
Committee adjourned at noon.
