PUBLIC PROTECTION COMMITTEE MEETING
SPECIAL MEETING
May 13, 1998
MEMBERS PRESENT: Julie Speer, Bill Krueger, Tom Irwin, Chuck Mehls
and Bob Gunderson.
STAFF PRESENT: Sheriff Paul Burch, Chief Deputy Ron Volkert, Chief
Jailer Karen Humphrey and the following jailers: Brent Standaert,
Shawn Demulling, Cathy Borgschatz and Shelby Lane.
The meeting began at 10:00 a.m.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR JAIL PANELS: Randy Lang of Lang Associates,
Inc. presented the committee with an Electronic Security System
Replacement report. A video was reviewed and discussion was held.
Motion by Krueger/Mehls to go ahead with the bidding process for
items 1,4,6 & 7 from the Lang Jail Panel proposal. Carried.
Meeting adjourned at 1:00 p.m.
