New Appointee's -- Updated List of Committee members distributed. 2. �lection of Officers - Chair: Tom Irwin Vice Chair: Peter Kilde Secretary: Sonja Johnson 3. *-2/Job Center Co -Location Sub -Committee Report - The report recommends co -location at the appropriate time. John has concerns regarding co -location due to W-2 not being here with the other services. There is 2,500 sq. ft. here if we wanted to bring Job Services in here. HeadStart (CESA 11) leas this area under a contract - year to year. Araceley stated Job Services is not interested in #loving here. �eter proposed staff make a recommendation with arguments to support such and the W-2 Steering Committee then can make a recommendation to Health & Human Services Board. NEW BUSINESS: 1. W-2 Statistical Update 7-10 active cases each month - not the same cases. 2. !W-2 Profit/Community Reinvestment Report Suggestions: Peter Kilde made a suggestion to deal with transportation - use some of the money as low interest capital to loan or purchase used cars for people in poverty. (Another suggestion by Ruth - Review co -payment for childcare. See if we can use these Ifunds for this pool to offset this. The Committee requested the guidelines be mailed to them prior to the November 5 I meeting, if possible. NOTE: Some from Health & Human Services Board would like to use these funds to �supplant services that are in existence. 3. 'Right of First Selection for next W-2 Contract. �W-2 is currently in the 13' month of 28--month cycle. The State will be coming out with the ,criteria for the Right of First Selection for the next contract in the near future. AGENDA NEXT HMING - W-2 Profit/Community Reinvestment Recommendations.
