The agenda was adopted as circulated.
The minutes of 10/20/97 were approved as circulated.
The next W2 Steering Committee meeting is Monday, April 2Qth, 1998 at 3:00 p.m.
Personnel Issues - Mary Jo Hansen is leaving the Job Center, Thank you from the Committee
and Marilyn Fruit for all her help with implementing W-2 in St. Croix County.
General Announcement - from Peter Kilde -- Community Steering Committee Operations Guide
is in the process of being revised by DWD. They are also in the process of plamning
Regional Community Steering Committee Round Tables.
General discussion of series by Pioneer Press.
W-2 Update
1. Several forms were handed out. Specific data with forms attached. As of December 31,
1997 AFDC ended in St. Croix County.
2. Co -location. Space is available next to the Job Center. Discussion around co -location - how
it may be more efficient. W-2 is coming in way under budget.
3. Transportation Update - Jump Start Program - no news per Peter Kilde.
4. Tracking of previous AFDC clients - State has not decided what they want regarding this,

Manufacturing Council conducting survey of Hudson
Issue Section 8 Housing now that the time is up and they are being sold to; private
owners.
