1. Joint Meeting with the Finance Committee: - Closed session per WI Stat. 19.85 (1) e. to
deliberate and review collective bargaining strategies prior to exchanging initial proposals
with employee bargaining units. Reconvene into open session.

JULY 22, 2008
JOINT MEETING WITH THE FINANCE COMMITTEE
Meeting was convened by Supervisor Standafer at 10:40 a.m. Present: Daryl Standafer, Dick
King and Cindy Leonard. Others present: Staff present: Whiting, Funk and Sheriff Hillstead
Others present: Rebholz, Speer and Larson, and Finance Committee members Malick, Norton -
Bauman, Sather and Wentz.
Approval of previous minutes was postponed.
1. Joint Meeting with the Finance Committee: - Closed session per WI Stat. 19.85 (1) e. to
deliberate and review collective bargaining strategies prior to exchanging initial proposals
with employee bargaining units. Motion by King, 2 nd by Leonard to move into closed session
per Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(e) to discuss bargaining strategy for upcoming negotiations with
the LAW bargaining units. Roll call vote — all ayes. Carried unanimously. Closed session
started at 10:42 a.m.
Motion by King, 2nd by Leonard to reconvene into open session (11:16 a.m.). Carried
unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the committee, the meeting was adjourned at
11:16 a.m.
